My Third Thanksgiving

I had my third and final Thanksgiving for this year on Saturday. This Thanksgiving I spent with Mary, Nandi and Nandi's family. We had a blast. Nandi is Haitian and they do not really celebrate Thanksgiving so they have a family get together on the Saturday of Thanksgiving week. Her family was HILARIOUS! Again, I can truly say that I felt right at home. Her entire family was very welcoming and treated me as if they knew me all their life. I had a great time and I'm glad to be able to say that I felt right at home. Thanksgiving with Nandi and her family is something I would love to experience again. After we ate, we played Taboo with everyone. I have almost no comments for the game except AWESOME! We ate and had fun like ONE BIG HAPPY FAMILY!

Lunch and Movie Date with Mary

Mary and I went out to lunch on Saturday and then went to the movies. We ate at Costco because I was bugging her about getting a Churro all weekend! I love churros and every time we see one I have to buy it! After lunch we watched Breaking Dawn Part 2. The movie was amazing and left me speechless at the end. I read the books and watching the movie was an absolute must! Lunch and Movie was awesome with Mary and afterwards we headed over to my Third Thanksgiving!

My Second Thanksgiving

My Second Thanksgiving was with Mary and her family. Ms. Donna is her foster mom and Thanksgiving was awesome. She is one of the sweetest ladies I have ever met. She went out of her way to make sure everything was perfect for all of us. The food was delicious and she really made me feel like a part of the family. This definitely felt like a Thanksgiving at home away from home for me with Mary and Ms. Donna!

Black Friday Shopping

Mary and I went Black Friday Shopping at Arizona Mills Mall. We had an absolute blast but by 4am we were both exhausted and ready to go back home. We got there are midnight and left a little before 5am. We found some great deals at Forever 21 and Bath and Body Works. I felt like we spent most of the time standing in line to pay for the items but we made it fun and really enjoyed ourselves! On the plus side, I found two dresses that I love for only $13.20 total! One dress was originally $32.99 so I have to say the trip was well worth it.

Below Pictures: (1) The line before we even got into the mall (2-3) waiting for Dicks to open...Mary's favorite store (4) The Disney store...there was a line the entire night so we didn't go in but their sign was super cute so I had to take a picture (5-7) Me holding my dresses at Forever 21...LOVE THEM! My First Thanksgiving

I had three Thanksgiving celebrations this year because my friends celebrated on different days for various reasons. My First Thanksgiving was with Nandi's boyfriend, Cameron, and his family. The one word that comes to mind when I think about that day is interesting! Cameron's mom was a great host and very welcoming. His grandmother on the other hand leaves me speechless. Even with her I had a great day and enjoyed great Thanksgiving food. We ate and the guys played football and we spent time laughing and having a jolly good time. This was my first thanksgiving away from my family but I have to say it was pretty awesome!
