Heading back to Flagstaff

Well my great spring break has come to an end. I cannot say that I am happy at all to head back to Flagstaff and start classes. Not to mention that I picked up an extra class this term. I guess all fun must come to an end but the countdown for summer now begins!

Scandia

My last day in California was spent at a family fun park, Scandia. I loved the last day of spring break spent with Jeanette and Mary. I must say that I had an awesome, fun-filled spring break with lots of love and laughter. I could not ask for greater friends and this is definitely a time I will remember for the rest of my life!

Movies at Victoria Gardens

I watched two movies at the Victoria Gardens Mall in California. I just wanted to share because both of these movies are must sees!

Disneyland

My cousin that lives in California, Jeanette, took me to Disneyland. We spent the entire day between both parks and I felt like a big kid all over again. It felt great being able to just relax and live like a kid all over again. I had a great time and this was my best day of the entire spring break!

Hiking in California

Let's just say I felt like I was going to die and I never thought I would be hiking in California! Only the pictures can explain this experience...

Dinner in California

I met the most awesome people ever! Mary and I joined Freddie, his sister and brother, Brandon and Markus for dinner at Applebee's. I cannot imagine meeting a better group of people. They were all hilarious and definitely made it a nice, relaxing night for us. I hated leaving them all as I felt we bonded in such a short week. That only means I must be making more trips to California to visit!

Huntington Beach

We had the best start ever to our spring break! Our first day we took a trip to the beach with Freddie's family. It was a little chilly, but we were on a beach in California so it could not get any better. I had a blast with such a welcoming family and my awesome friends!

Heading to California

Mary, Freddie and I took the train from Flagstaff, AZ to San Bernardino, CA. The train ride was nine hours but it was surprisingly comfortable. I could not wait to get to California and have an awesome spring break!

Spring Break!!!

In exactly 5 hours 19 minutes and 22 seconds, I will be leaving NAU to enjoy my spring break with Mary and Freddie! We are headed to California until Sunday (24th) night and I am beyond excited. There is nothing else I can say except I am ready to have a great time for my first time ever in California! I will be back to update you on my awesome experience on Tuesday, March 26^th….

Minute to Win it

In our staff meeting this week, we played minute to win it games. Every week two staff members, as a pair, have fifteen minutes to do something creative with the staff. This week, RA Flood and RA Travis decided to play minute to win it games because they felt like we needed to have a some fun! They were definitely right and we had a blast. We played three different minute to win it games (keep three balloons in the air, use a paper clip, stick and string to hold a  key over your head, toilet paper wrap)  and it definitely was a great start to our staff meeting!
