In-N-Out

When I got out of class on Friday my Co, Kenzie, and Flood wanted to go to In-N-Out. The drive is about a hour and a half each way remind you, but it did not take to much to convince me to go with them! It was an awesome and much needed get away from NAU and all the work I've been assigned lately. I can't think of a better way to spend my Friday!

Angela Davis Speaks

Angela Davis is coming to speak at NAU! I was so excited on Friday to go hear her speak only to find out it was rescheduled until April 24th. I was definitely a little disappointed but I went and got my ticket for April 24th, and I am just as excited all over again!

Flood's 22nd Birthday

RA Jessica Flood turned 22 on April 3rd! Danielle and I helped her celebrate her birthday at Oregano's for dinner. We had a fabulous time together and the food was beyond amazing. When we got back to Sechrist, Flood's co Mandy made her penguin cupcakes! Penguins are Flood's favorite and she really loved them. I hope Flood enjoyed her day, which was only the beginning of her celebrations, because I enjoyed spending her birthday with her. Happy Birthday Flood!

Easter

I spent Easter weekend with Nandi and her family in Mesa! As usual, I had an awesome time with them and enjoyed every second of my Easter weekend. I love spending time with them all and they make me feel as if I am right at home. I can definitely say that Nandi's house is my home away from home in Arizona. Also, I really enjoyed myself at church. The message was powerful and exactly what I needed to hear. I hope to come back one day and attend again (which I am already making plans to come back to Arizona for a visit)! This is what life is all about for me and I am grateful to have met such wonderful people that I never want to lose contact with in my life! I love Nandi and her family as if they were my own and I've known them my entire 20 years of life!

Heading back to Flagstaff

Well my great spring break has come to an end. I cannot say that I am happy at all to head back to Flagstaff and start classes. Not to mention that I picked up an extra class this term. I guess all fun must come to an end but the countdown for summer now begins!

Scandia

My last day in California was spent at a family fun park, Scandia. I loved the last day of spring break spent with Jeanette and Mary. I must say that I had an awesome, fun-filled spring break with lots of love and laughter. I could not ask for greater friends and this is definitely a time I will remember for the rest of my life!
